The Midi Fighter 3D is a midi controller made by DJTechTools. It has 16 arcade buttons and you can change between 4 sound banks so that's 64 buttons.
What can I do with it?
Its a midi controller, so you can map it to launch clips, play instruments and play drum racks. You can also toggle effects, and control virtual rotaries or faders.

How can i get the logo/icon that monstercat and other Promoters use?

Everyone is now wondering How do i get the logo/icon that monstercat uses?
The answer is simple: edmDistrict
Many artists/Lables/promoters are on edmDistrict.
What can you do there?
You can chat with other people/producers, you can enter competitions, you can post your songs and get feedback and many other things.
edmDistrict colored icons represent lables, producers, etc.
What do each color represent?

How do i get the logo/icon?
Follow these simple steps:
Step 1:
Go to edmDistrict page and download the template (click here).
Step 2:
Open the template on photoshop or other software that supports multiple layers.
Step 3:
Add your logo.
Step 4:
Render.
Step 5
You are done

REMEMBER: If you are not a producer just use the white icon (to keep the... Integrity?)
IMPORTANT: If you are a promoter or producer you will have to sign a "contract" with edmDistrict on the Facebook page. This will give you the rights to use the other colors. (the one that represents you).

How do i turn Launchpad/Launchpad S lights on (User 1 Tutorial)

Today we are going to learn how to turn on the led on our launchpad or launchpad s.
STEP 1
Connect your launchpad or launchpad S as showed below:
Go To Options>Preferences (Preferences>MIDI sync for MAC)

Click MIDI sync on PC and put everything as showed:

STEP 2
Close Preferences and Create a new MIDI Track (rename it if you want to)

STEP 3
Turn on IO button

STEP 4
On "Lights" MIDI track change "MIDI FROM" from "ALL Ins" to the MIDI track you'll be using with the launchpad (this case a drumrack(

STEP 5 Then change Monitor from AUTO to IN

STEP 6
After that change MIDI TO from No Output to Launchpad Output:

STEP 7
Finally if you are using Ableton Live 8 leave Channel to Ch.1 and if you are using Live 9 change it to Ch.5

EXTRA STEP
CONGRATULATIONS! you are done, but you can still add midi effects to the "Lights" MIDI track to make lights funnier (such as velocity, arpeggiator, chords, etc).

You can change Out Hi on velocity to change the colors. (also put Mode to Fixed)

LIST OF COLORS:
Yellow = 127
Green = 124/125 (125 is a bit brighter than 124)
Red =75
Orange = 35

That is all my friend, if you have any doubt just write it on the comments and i'll try to answer it.
Hope it helped!

Novation Launchpad Review

Novation Launchpad Review

Hello!
Today we are going to review the Novation Launchpad.
First of all: What is the Novation Launchpad?, the Novation Launchpad is one of the most famous MIDI controlers for Ableton in the world.
Thousands of producers; such as Madeon, M4SONIC, Jack Conte, Throttle and many more; use it to perform live.
Well, many producers use it, but Why?, the Novation Launchpad is simple, usefull and easy to use. Also it's USB powered so its Plug and Play.
The Launchpad has 64 buttons, comes pre-mapped and has 4 different modes:
- Session Mode: Used to launch clips and loops.
- User 1: Used to play midi notes.
- User 2: It can be used to toggle effects, control Max For Live, or to toggle session clips (all of them need mapping).
- Mixer Mode: Used to control Volume, Pan and other things (basically the essential mixing controls of a track).
Also many people use it to make lightshows (velocity changes the color of the lights).

What comes with the Launchpad?
- The Novation Launchpad itself
- One USB Cable
- Ableton Live: Launchpad Edition (well, it's a serial key that you put on the novation website and then they let you download it).
- Some papers (Quick Start Guide and other stuff).

Where can I buy a Novation Launchpad?
It's difficult to find a new one (used ones are cheaper and easier to find).
I recomend you to buy the new Novation Launchpad S: its brighter, faster, you can use it with any major DAW without having to download drivers and you can buy a new one on amazon for less than a new original Launchpad.
